Molecular Genetics

The NNUH Molecular Genetics lab provides tests for common polymorphisms associated with haemochromatosis (HFE gene), thrombophilia (Factor II and Factor V) and certain autoimmune disorders (HLA B-27). We also test for clonality (IGH and TCR) and mutations (JAK2) that are associated with some leukaemias and lymphomas.
