Results from NNUH staff survey
The NHS Staff Survey compared staff feedback from acute trusts and found that staff rated the hospital in the top 20 per cent for:
Staff recommendation of the Trust as a place to work or receive treatment
Using flexible work options
Staff not intending to leave their jobs
Staff receiving relevant training and development
Staff perceptions of effective action from employer towards violence and harassment
Percentage of staff taking part in equality and diversity training
In the 2011 survey the Trust was in the top 20 per cent in 12 categories (seven in 2010) and in the bottom 20 per cent in only one category (one in 2010). A total of 573 staff responded to the 2011 national NHS staff survey.
Chief Executive, Anna Dugdale, said: It is really encouraging to receive this positive feedback from our staff about their motivation and commitment. It is particularly pleasing that we compare so well nationally in the top 20 per cent for staff recommending the Trust as a place to work or receive treatment.
