Hospital communications team shortlisted for three awards

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Communications team has been shortlisted for three top communications awards.

The hospital team has been shortlisted in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) East Anglian PRide awards in the categories of best event for the Open Day and Fete, best not-for-profit campaign for the Norfolk Diabetes Prevention Study and outstanding in-house team. The finals are held on 9th November.

Chairman David Prior said: “Healthcare is both hugely satisfying and increasingly complex. How we  communicate effectively with our patients, our staff, our members and the public is therefore extremely important. Getting the right balance between transparency and confidentiality, and between public confidence and full disclosure is often very difficult. I am delighted therefore that our Communications Team has been nominated for three such important awards."

The NNUH Communications team is comprised of Andrew Stronach, Hayley Gerrard, Janice Bradfield and Sue Jones.
