Public invited to hear about revolution in hi-tech imaging

Members of the public are being invited to hear about how the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has led the way in revolutionising hi-tech diagnostic imaging over the past 10 years.

Dr Stuart Williams, consultant radiologist and clinical director, will talk about the significant technological changes that have enabled faster and more accurate diagnoses for patients in Norfolk.

This autumn marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the anniversary forms part of a theme of Celebrating Age for the NHS Foundation Trust's annual general meeting (AGM).

The AGM takes place on Thursday 22nd September with an exhibition from 3pm and the AGM running from 3.30pm until 5.30pm. The event will highlight developments over the last 10 years since the hospital moved to the Colney Lane site with a particular emphasis on the care provided for older people.

The public meeting will take place at the John Innes Conference Centre, Norwich Research Park, Colney, Norwich, NR4 7UH. There will be no charge for car parking.

David Prior, Chairman of the Trust, says: "This is an opportunity for the public to come along and find out more about our hospitals and how they are performing. There have been so many changes over the past decade and our AGM is an opportunity for us to reflect on the progress we've made and the challenges ahead.”
