Election update
We hold annual elections and our next election will be held in the Autumn of 2013 to fill any vacancies which have arisen during the year.

First election
We held our first election for a Council of Governors between January and April 2008. The Council of Governors has a stewardship role, shaping the future of the Trust.

To be eligible to vote in future elections, you must join as a public member. You can join now by ringing 01603 287634 for an application form or click here.
Standing for election as a Public Governor
Our annual election process is handled on our behalf by Electoral Reform Services Ltd (ERS) to ensure it is independent and fair.
There are some circumstances where members cannot become Governors. You will not be eligible to stand for election if:
- you are aged under 16 years of age
- you are an undischarged bankrupt
- you have made an arrangement with creditors which has not been discharged
- You have been convicted of any offence within the last five years that resulted in a sentence of imprisonment for a period of three months or more.
