Elections (Council of governors elections)

Elections

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust holds annual elections and the next one will take place in 2015 to fill any vacancies for governors which have arisen during the year.

The elected Governors will become part of the Trust’s Council of Governors and have a role in influencing the development of services at Cromer Hospital and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Governors also have the opportunity to get involved in areas of the hospital’s work such as inspecting ward and outpatient areas as part of the quality audit programme or working with hospital teams to improve standards of care.

The Governors will be elected by the 17,000 public members of the Trust. Membership is free and open to anyone living in Norfolk or Waveney.

People interested in becoming a member or finding our more about the role of Governor can telephone Janice Bradfield in the Membership office on 01603 287634 or e-mail janice.bradfield@nnuh.nhs.uk
