Grove Genito-Urinary Medicine Clinic (GUM Clinic)
The Grove Genito-Urinary Medicine Clinic provides free, expert and confidential advice and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.
Many sexually transmitted infections have no symptoms and can spread quickly. Not everyone who visits the clinic has an infection, some people want a checkup for peace of mind or before they start a new relationship.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) have also been called Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) or Veneral Diseases (VDs). Sexually transmitted infections is now the accepted term.
We offer both drop-in and appointment sessions at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as well as appointment only sessions at the Contraception and Sexual Health Clinic on Grove Road in Norwich on Mondays between 14:00 - 19:00.
Testing for sexually transmitted infections including Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea HIV and Syphilis
Treatment of other genital conditions including Thrush, Bacterial Vaginosis and Trichomonas.
Confidential sexual health advice and information
Follow up care for patients who are HIV positive
Hepatitis B screening and vaccinations for at risk patients
Screening and support for victims of sexual assault
Non specific urethritis (USI)

For the walk-in clinics please attend the hospital between 08.45 and 10.30 Monday to Friday and you will be seen during that morning. This is a sit and wait service.

The GUM Clinic is now running an appointment only clinic at Cromer Hospital on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the calendar month for testing and advice.
The clinic is from 1.30-4pm, first floor, at Cromer Hospital.
