Hospital dementia champions are ready to help and support   22 January 2015
A network of dementia champions have been recruited to help patients throughout the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

They have all offered to be dementia champion links in their departments and the first 30 are about to undergo their training on January 23rd. The training is being provided by the Norfolk and Suffolk Dementia Alliance and specialist training will also be provided by the hospital’s dementia care coaches on understanding and meeting patients’ needs.

Birds flock to Cromer Hospital   29 December 2014
A flock of sea birds in flight now greets people as they set foot inside the entrance of Cromer Hospital.
‘Sea Air’ is a beautiful sculpture reminiscent of birds of the Norfolk coastline. It’s been created by North Norfolk artist Kate Munro and is one of the final parts of the Cromer Hospital redevelopment project.
The birds in flight are suspended and in different tones of blue and white with some featuring images of the sky and clouds.
