Minister’s visit marks 64th anniversary of the NHS

Health Minister Lord Howe will be is visiting the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Thursday 5th July to mark the 64th anniversary of the NHS.

The Minister will be meeting patients and staff on Knapton Ward to celebrate 64 years of care from the NHS with tea and cakes. Lord Howe will also find out how a programme of external inspections carried out in partnership with patient representatives and charities such as Age UK has improved standards of care for patients.

The birthday visit is a chance for Lord Howe to thank NHs staff for their ongoing passion and dedication in caring for their patients.
