Hospital Radio Norwich invites you to join its event on the Mississippi River Boat, “The Southern Comfort,” sailing from Horning on Sunday afternoon 22 April 2012 from 3.00-5.00pm.

Resident musicians, The Broads Chords, will delight you with jazz shuffle.

One of the jazz group is HRN member John Grant who also organised the trip. On this occasion Broads Chords are joined by local singer and HRN member “Marcia” who will be treating us to songs old and new.

Bring a picnic if you wish, but please, no alcohol as there is a bar on board with moderate prices.

Blazers/straw boaters/20s style dress adds to the fun but not essential. A raffle will also be held and the winners drawn on the boat.

The boat will leave Horning opposite the Swan PH. Ample parking in the free car park.

Directions: From Norwich take the Wroxham Road [A1151] to Hoveton. Cross Wroxham Bridge and immediately fork right at Roy’s/MacDonald’s. After 800 yds. at ‘T’ junction turn right onto A1062 to Horning. After approximately 3 miles turn right at river-boat sign down to the Swan PH.
