The Gynae-Oncology team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides both diagnostic and specialist care for patients with cancer of the female genital tract including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vaginal and vulval cancers in line with the IOG guidelines.
If you have recently been told you have or are suspected of having a cancer of the female genital tract you will have already met some of the people involved in your care. These health professionals work within a team which is called a specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which is based at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. The members of the Gynaecology MDT are experts at treating and managing gyanecological cancers. They are involved with your investigations, diagnosis and treatment.
