Shops

shopsThere is also The Stock Shop, a women's fashion shop, located on Level 2 of the West Atrium behind the WHSmith shop, open 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and 12:00 to 17:30 on Saturdays.

Restaurant

Chicorys restaurantThe main hospital restaurant, is in the West Atrium and serves hot and cold meals and drinks from 7:00am to 8.00pm, seven days a week.

Coffee shops

Deli coffee shop There are coffee shops in both the East and West Out-patient reception areas which are open between 9:00am and 5.00pm only.

There is also a large coffee shop (Deli-Food2Go) outside the entrance East Out-patients (open 7:00am to 1:00am weekdays and 11am - 1am at weekends) and another cafe called Cafe Pure (Mon-Fri 7:30am-6pm, Sat 9am-4pm, Sun 10am-3pm) located within WHSmith outside the West Out-patients entrance.

 

 

 

Vending machines

These are found in waiting and reception areas throughout the hospital and supply both cold and hot drinks as well as snacks.

 

Toilets and Baby Changing


The hospital has toilets in all the public areas. A number of the toilets are single cubicles which can be used by either men or women. Toilets designed for the disabled carry the disabled sign but they can also be used by the able-bodied and are for use by both sexes. There are also baby-changing rooms in a number of locations and main reception staff can be asked for directions to the nearest one.

Children's Play Area

outdoor play areaThere is an outdoor children's playground next to the Jenny Lind Children's Hospital on Level 2 of the West block. It has safety flooring and is designed for children under the age of 10. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or carer.

Payphones and Postboxes

The hospital has a total of 44 public payphones in all the main reception/waiting areas of the hospital. There are two Royal Mail post boxes - one outside the West Out-patient entrance and one on Level 2 of the East Atrium. 

Cash Machines

The hospital has two cash dispensing machines, both provided by the Nationwide building society. The first is on Level 2 of the East Atrium, the second is in the W H Smith shop located outside West Out-patients on Level 2. The machines are part of the Link network and accept the vast majority of cash machine cards.

Smoking

All hospital premises and grounds are smoking-free. Anyone who would like help to give up smoking can call the Quitline on 0800 00 22 00 or visit the Norfolk's free stop smoking services at Smoke Free Norfolk. No smoking is permitted inside or outside all Trust sites, this policy applies to staff, visitors, patients and contractors.
