Professional Expertise: Dr. Adam studied neuroscience at Cambridge, graduating in 1998. He completed clinical studies at University College London in 2001. He trained in neurology at New York University Medical Center, USA, The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Cambridge University Hospital (Addenbrookes), Royal North Shore and Westmead Hospitals, Sydney, Australia. His PhD studied impulse control disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease and diseases affecting the frontal lobes. He completed a movement disorders fellowship in Sydney gaining expertise in the management of advanced Parkinson’s disease using apomorphine, intestinal levodopa infusion and deep brain stimulation. He also provides botulinum toxin therapy for dystonia.
