Profile:

A communications professional who has worked across three sectors:  healthcare, construction training and finance.  Before joining the NNUH, I spent nearly eight years leading the communications for local Primary Care Trusts. 

My current role is that of Senior Communications and Membership Manager.  As well as being responsible for internal communications, one of my key roles is to involve members of the Trust and support the Council of Governors.  As a NHS Foundation Trust, we have a membership of over 16,000 people which includes patients, public and staff.  The views of the membership are represented a Council of Governors which is made up of 15 public Governors and six staff Governors elected by the members, plus four appointed Governors from local organisations.  The role of the council is to shape the future of services offered by the Trust.
