If you are interested in pursuing a career in Medicine then a 6th Form Work Placement is a great way for you to get hands on experience, and to gain an understanding of what a career in Medicine would be like.
We have had many schools participate in the scheme including;
Attleborough Academy Norfolk, Dereham Sixth Form College, Diss High School, Gresham’s School,
Hellesdon High School, Norwich High School for Girls GDST, Norwich School, Notre Dame High School,
Reepham High School & College, Sheringham High School, Smithdon Sixth Form, Thetford Grammar School, Wymondham College Sixth Form, Wymondham High Academy Trust.

Mr Am Rai initiated the programme 4 year’s ago in an attempt to allow student’s from different backgrounds to gain work experience. The programme has evolved based on feedback from students & teachers.

Each student was asked to provide a summary of their thoughts and experience of the week to share with the group. This involves public speaking amongst peers which is important to develop during medical training.
