The purpose of the Admin & Clerical Bank is to provide temporary staff to fill shortfalls within departments. Bank registration is not permanent and we cannot guarantee work.  Bank staff are required for short term vacancies / annual leave requests / long term sickness / staff secondments / special projects and workload problems.

The Admin & Clerical Bank provides staff to all departments within the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust. Work is varied and some training is provided.

You can now complete an application form on-line to join the Admin and Clerical Bank.  Please refer to for details.  The website contains details/applications forms for Medical Secretaries and Receptionists/Ward Clerks/General Clerical Officers as the need arises.  Adverts will be removed for a period once sufficient applications have been received.

If a Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) is required for this post and you are a new employee to the Trust, returning after a break in service or registering with the Staff Bank, any costs arising from a DBS disclosure will be deducted from your salary on appointment if the salary exceeds spine point 9 of the Agenda for Change pay scales.

If the employee leaves the Trust within two months of commencing employment, any outstanding payments will be deducted from final pay
