2020 is going to be an incredible year for NNUH’s Interventional Radiology Unit!

A brand new extension will open in spring, housing state-of-the-art facilities in a £7 million extension that will allow us to extend the wide variety of procedures already performed here!

Have you ever considered a career in nursing in Interventional Radiology? An expanding field making huge advances in imaging modalities and image guided techniques, it is one of the most exciting developments happening here at NNUH.

Once opened, the IRU at NNUH will be the only place in the UK to have 4 suites with state of the art technology, a fully kitted out 16 bed recovery unit and most excitingly there are plans for the unit to become a national training and reference centre.

We would welcome applications from candidates without previous experience in Interventional Radiology, however recent or current experience in an acute Trust is desirable.
