Health secretary to mark new hospital's foundation
Health Secretary Frank Dobson is set to see at first hand construction work on Norfolk's new £214 million hospital at Colney.
Mr Dobson is visiting Norwich on Monday, September 14, to unveil a plaque commemorating foundation work on the new 809-bed hospital. The Health Secretary will be joined by Sir Martin Laing, Chairman of John Laing Construction, one of the key members of the consortium building the hospital.
Mr Dobson said: “Once this hospital is built it will mean the excellence of the people working in the health service in Norwich will be matched by the building, plant and equipment.”
