Hospital staff clock up 1000 years service

39 staff at the NNUH have clocked up a combined total of nearly 1,000 years service with the NHS will this week receive long service awards from hospital chairman David Prior and Director of Nursing Margaret Coomber.

A total of 39 staff at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust have reached the 25 year service mark and each will be presented with £200 worth of gift vouchers by hospital chairman David Prior and Director of Nursing Margaret Coomber.

The long-serving hospital staff range from midwives, healthcare scientists, consultants, admin staff, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, and radiographers.

Chairman David Prior said: “It is a real privilege to be able to present these awards to staff who have dedicated their lives to the caring cause of public service in the NHS. Over the years they have tirelessly used their skills to deliver healthcare for the benefit of the Norfolk public. We are all indebted to them.”
