New website for Norfolk and Norwich
A brand new website has been launched by the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust to help provide the public with a wealth of information about the Trust's hospitals and services.
The new website www.nnuh.nhs.uk has been developed by the hospital Trust’s Information Technology and Communication teams and has drawn heavily on feedback from people who used the old website.
The new website includes details of the health services provided to 543,529 patients last year by more than 5,400 staff working at Cromer & District Hospital, the university hospital, and the Trust’s other sites in the city.
The website has a search engine, it includes department and ward details, information leaflets, links to other useful websites, Trust documents, maps, and allows online feedback.
Head of Communications Andrew Stronach said: Increasingly people are using the Internet to find out about health services and health-related issues and we wanted a website that would help our public find what they want to know.
Freedom of information is very important to us and the www.nnuh.nhs.uk website gives people a window on our services. Whilst it will take time for the website to include details of every single department, there is already a real wealth of useful information on the site.
