Kidney Dialysis Patients Annual Trip to Holland

TV presenter Helen McDermott and Trust Chairman David Prior will be sending off dialysis patients from the Jack Pryor Unit of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on their annual holiday to the Netherlands.
The Jack Pryor Unit is a 30-station renal dialysis unit based at the
Renal patients require dialysis two or three times a week, and each session takes three or four hours. Patients will spend a week at
Sandy Lines, UNKPA staff representative, said: I would like to thank the local media for their help this year in making sure this holiday went ahead. It’s always difficult for dialysis patients to get a break away from home and I know from previous trips to the Netherlands just how much it means to patients and their carers, it really does bring a smile to their faces.”
