Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital hosts national surgery exams

Up to 130 trainee surgeons and 30 examiners from across the country will be descending on Norwich as the city hosts the Royal College of Surgeons MRCS examinations this week.
The MRCS clinical exams are taking place at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on 15-17th November and are being held on Gateley ward, which is currently closed as part of the hospital's ward refurbishment programme.
N&N thoracic surgeon and RCS clinical examiner Mr Wyn Parry said: “We are in the very fortunate position of having superb ward facilities at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital that are ideally suited for the clinical and communication aspects of the MRCS examinations. It is a feather in our cap to be able to host these important examinations.”
