Martin Bell OBE to join Big C for special Christmas Luncheon

In support of prostate cancer support, care and research the Big C, local cancer charity for Norfolk and north Suffolk, is joining forces with the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group (NWPCSG) to hold a special Christmas Luncheon on Friday 1st December 2006 at the Maids Head Hotel, Norwich, to raise funds for research into prostate cancer and to highlight the work of these two vital organisations.

In support of prostate cancer support, care and research Big C, local cancer charity for Norfolk and north Suffolk, are joining forces with the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group (NWPCSG) to hold a special Christmas Luncheon on Friday 1st December 2006 at the Maids Head Hotel, Norwich, to raise funds for research into prostate cancer and to highlight the work of these two vital organisations.

Martin Bell OBE, patron of the NWPCSG, shall be attending as their very special guest speaker detailing just some of the numerous stories from his times as a BBC foreign correspondent. In addition Mr Krishna Sethia, Consultant and Divisional Clinical Director Urology from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital shall be speaking briefly about the advances being made in the field of prostate cancer research and care here in our area.

The event is being held at Maids Head Hotel, Norwich on Friday 1st December 2006 with a three course Christmas lunch and coffee being served. Guests are invited to arrive from 12.30pm for a 1pm lunch and it is envisaged that the luncheon will finish at 3.30pm at the latest. The event provides an ideal opportunity to attend an enjoyable festive luncheon whilst supporting this important cause.

Tickets are £30 each per person or £300 for a table of ten and everyone is welcome to attend. In addition Big C are also currently looking for sponsors for this event and acquiring prizes for the raffle so would be interested in speaking to anyone interested in offering support in this way.
