Staff clock up nearly 2,000 years service

A total of 74 staff at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust have clocked up a combined total of 1,850 years service and will receive long service awards from interim chairman David Wright and chief executive Paul Forden.

A total of 53 staff who have reached the 25 year service mark with the Trust and its predecessor organisations will be personally presented with certificates at a ceremony held in the Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre on the evening of November 30.

The long-serving hospital staff range from midwives, healthcare scientists, consultants, admin staff, nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians, and radiographers.

Interim Chairman David Wright said: “It is a real privilege to be able to present these awards to staff who have dedicated their lives to the caring cause of public service in the NHS. Over the years they have tirelessly used their skills to deliver healthcare for the benefit of the Norfolk public.”
