The art of dying well
Baroness Neuberger, the rabbi, social reformer and member of the House of Lords, will be among the key speakers at a palliative care study day on Tuesday 14 November at the John Innes Centre in Norwich. The author of two books on death and dying, she will give a talk on 'Dying Well'.
Other topics covered during the day will be “When a Child Dies', 'What do I tell the children', 'Spirituality in palliative care' and 'Hospice bereavement services in the UK.'
The study day is the 16th to be organised locally by the Norfolk and Waveney Cancer Network. It will be chaired by Terry Magee, Director of Education for the St Helena Hospice, Colchester, who was named Educationist of the Year 2006 by the International Journal of Palliative Nursing.
The study day is open to all health professionals with an interest in palliative care.
