Hospital team shortlisted for top PR awards

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital's Communications team has been shortlisted for a number of top communications awards.

The hospital team has been shortlisted in the Association of Healthcare Communicators (AHC) finals and the regional Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards.

The AHC finals are being held on October 18 in Sheffield. The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital team has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Crisis Management Award, PVL Outbreak
  • Best Campaign Award, Bowel Cancer Screening

The CIPR awards in the East Anglian finals are held in Ipswich on December 5 and the hospital team is shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Outstanding In-house Public Relations Team
  • Best Crisis Communications, PVL Outbreak
  • Best Not-for-Profit campaign, Bowel Cancer Screening

Head of communications Andrew Stronach said: “Both these shortlisted projects involved communicating with the public and media on important, complex and difficult issues. We are very pleased to have reached these finals and to be judged against the very best in the country and the region”.

The NNUH Communications team is comprised of Sue Jones, Hayley Gerrard, Janice Bradfield and Andrew Stronach.
