Award wins for medical illustrators
Medical Illustration staff at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital have come out winners with a host of prizes in the Institute of Medical Illustrators Awards 2007.
Medical photographers Helen Rudd and Michael Smith won a number of awards. Helen Rudd won a Gold and a Silver award for her clinical photography and Michael Smith won a Silver and two Bronze awards.
The awards were for demonstrating exceptional use of technique, understanding and interpretation of the subject matter. NNUH graphic designer Ann Lush also won Silver and Bronze awards for her graphic design work.
Head of Medical Illustration Simon Dove said: “I am delighted at the success the department has achieved. These awards recognise the quality of the images we routinely deliver around the Trust and our photographers should feel very proud at their respective achievements”.
