Hospital team wins top communications awards

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital has won two national public relations awards for work undertaken by its Communications team.

The hospital's Communications team was shortlisted in the Association of Healthcare Communicators (AHC) finals held on October 18 in Sheffield. The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital team won in the following categories: 

  • Best Campaign award, Bowel Cancer Screening
  • Best Media Handling and Crisis Management award, PVL Outbreak

Head of communications Andrew Stronach said: “Both these projects involved communicating with the public and media on important, complex and difficult issues. We are delighted to have reached these national finals and to have been judged the best in the country”.

The NNUH communications team is comprised of Sue Jones, Hayley Gerrard, Janice Bradfield and Andrew Stronach.
