Archbishop of Canterbury to visit NNUH

The Archbishop of Canterbury will be visiting the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital today to find out at first hand the important and varied work of hospital chaplains.
The Most Rev Dr Rowan Williams will be meeting with hospital chaplains, other faith representatives, staff and managers. His visit will then be followed by a tour of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) where he will meet with parents and staff on the unit and find out more about the role of the Baby Bereavement Forum.
Colin Reed, Head of Chaplaincy Services, said: We are delighted that the Archbishop is making time to come and visit to this very modern hospital where we deliver very high quality, high tech care in a humane and caring way and to see how the Chaplaincy team is an integral part of that”.
