Staff clock up 1,750 years hospital service
A total of 70 staff at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust have clocked up a combined total of 1,750 years service to the NHS.
The hospital staff with long service with the Trust and its predecessor organisations will next week receive their awards from chairman David Prior and chief executive Paul Forden.
Staff who have reached the 25 year service mark will be personally presented with £200 worth of gift vouchers at a ceremony held in the Benjamin Gooch Lecture Theatre on the evening of 19 December 2007.
The long-serving hospital staff range from midwives, healthcare scientists, consultants, admin staff, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists and support staff.
Chairman David Prior said: “It is a real privilege to be able to present these awards to staff who have dedicated their lives to caring for patients in our hospitals. Over the years they have tirelessly used their skills to deliver healthcare for the benefit of literally thousands of people in Norfolk and beyond.”
