Jenny Lind Children’s unit gets large donation

The Friends of the Norwich Hospitals has donated over £29,000 to the Jenny Lind Children’s Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

The money will be used as part of a hospital arts project aimed at creating a new environment for the Norfolk children aged under 16 years who need hospital treatment. All areas of the children’s unit are currently being refurbished, including Buxton Ward, the day unit, emergency assessment unit, physiotherapy area and outpatient area. 

Local artists are being involved in the hospital arts project which will see the installation of new furniture, games, play equipment, ceiling panels, artworks, mobiles, and clocks.
