Schools and public offered science talks for National Pathology Week
Two days of talks, looking at aspects of the science behind pregnancy and childbirth, will be taking place at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for National Pathology Week, which runs from 1-7 November.
There will be two morning sessions for Norfolk schools aimed at GCSE and A-level students on 3rd and 4th November and the afternoons on those days will be open to the public.
The talks will be held in the Gooch Lecture Theatre at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, covering subjects such as the biochemistry of pregnancy, screening for infectious diseases in pregnancy, life in utero, sexually transmitted diseases, childbirth screening investigations and how women are built for making babies.
