Largest ever patient survey at NNUH

Thousands of patients will be asked for their views next week in the largest ever survey conducted at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cromer Hospital.

Volunteers and hospital Governors will be handing out copies of the patient experience survey, from 26th to 30th September, in outpatient clinics and on the wards. The survey will cover issues such as personal comfort, hand hygiene, nutrition, information, timeliness, and dignity and privacy.

Chief Executive Anna Dugdale says: “The patient experience survey will provide us with a clear picture of how our patients experience their care and how we can make improvements.

“We will be making changes to our monthly survey arrangements and this large scale survey will help us to set a baseline for the future.

“We would like to appeal to our patients to respond to the survey and let us know what they think about their care.”

Valuable patient feedback is gathered every month at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cromer Hospital from a variety of sources. The patient experience survey will provide additional information and forms part of wider programme of patient engagement.
