Patient feedback on the agenda at hospital governor meeting
The Council of Governor's meeting at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital takes place this week from 10am to 12pm on Wednesday 16th November 2011.
During the meeting, there will be a presentation on the results of a large scale patient experience survey carried out in September. It will be followed by a regular update on the quality, safety and performance of hospital services with particular attention on the Care Quality Commission inspections.
All NHS Foundation Trusts have a Council of Governors which represents the views of patients, public and staff. As space is limited at the meeting, members of the public who are interested in attending should contact the Membership Office on 01603 287634 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Notes for Editors
The role of the Council of Governors is to represent the views of the Trusts members when decisions are made about the future of hospital services.
There are 15 public Governors who each represent a geographical area in Norfolk or Waveney. There are also six staff Governors who each represent a staff group, plus four appointed Governors from local organisations The University of East Anglia, NHS Norfolk, Norfolk County Council and a representative from the District Councils.
