United Kidney Patients Association Carol Service
The United Norwich Kidney Patients Association (UNKPA) are holding a Christmas Carol Service in Norwich Cathedral this Friday 9th December at 7.30pm to raise funds for the charity.
Everyone is welcome to attend this fundraising event at Norwich Cathedral and all proceeds from the collection will go to help those in renal failure.
Helen McDermott, patron of UNKPA said “I am delighted to have been patron of UNKPA for so many years, it is a very worthwhile charity, and like most charities at this time needs funds. This Carol Service is one way of not only raising funds but also awareness for those who work very hard to constantly improve the lives of kidney patients and their carers in Norfolk Suffolk and Waveney.
UNKPA is a local charity run by volunteers to support people in kidney failure. Established in 1980, when Norwich had the only renal unit in this area of East Anglia. Membership now includes all renal patients from Norfolk and Waveney (not just those on dialysis), their families and friends wherever they may live.
The charity helps to raise awareness of renal failure with events like world kidney day and education evenings as well as raising funds to help improve the lives of renal patients.
