Take part in a 'Mucky Race' and raise monies for NNUH

Entries are now open for a steeplechase taking place on Sunday 28th October 2012 in Great Witchingham in aid of the Friends of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH).

Mucky Races are organising this Steeplechase which is an obstacle race with a difference. There are over 30 horse jumps to climb, clamber and jump, a 150m freezing river wade and 3 large water obstacles.
The run takes place across the beautiful Norfolk country side and there are two distances a 5km and 10km course both of which includes all of the main obstacles. You can also enter either individually or as a team.

Beth Coley, Fundraising Manager at the NNUH said “This event is an exciting opportunity, the health benefits of getting actively involved in events such like this are undeniable whilst raising funds for charity at the same time. I'll be taking part as part of Team Catch-up from the NNUH so please look out for us and give us a cheer as we go past”.

The Friends of NNUH is a registered charity (no.1130560) which seeks to improve the experience of patients, friends and their families here at NNUH. They have recently funded, for example, an ultrasound machine in the Acute Medical Unit; a laparoscopic stack used for patients with gynaecological cancer and a high dependency incubator cot in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
