Norfolk's biggest hospital Trust wants more members
Norfolks biggest hospital Trust would like to attract more members. Membership of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is free and open to anyone over the age of 12 who lives in the Norfolk and Waveney areas.
By joining as a member, the public can have a bigger say in how the Trusts two hospitals at Norwich and Cromer are run, find out more about their own health through talks and events and stand for election as a hospital governor. Over 15,000 local people have joined the Trust as public members and the Trust also has 6,500 staff who are also members.
David Prior, Chairman of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, says: This is an opportunity for local people to help us improve our services by applying to become a member and having a more direct say in the future of our hospitals. It is important that our hospitals are accountable to the people they serve.
Anyone who wishes to join the membership can ring the Communications Team for an application form on 01603 287634, email membership@nnuh.nhs.uk or apply online at www.nnuh.nhs.uk
