Hospital Chaplaincy hosts Saviour event
The Chaplaincy at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is hosting an evening of music and readings on Wednesday 27th March.
The performance called Saviour will take the audience through some of the significant events of Christs life, leading up to his death and resurrection. The performance is timed to happen during the week before Easter Day.
After the performance, there will be a voluntary collection on behalf of the NNUH Slipper Appeal. Chaplaincy is working with the Occupational Therapy department in the hospital to provide slippers for those patients who need a sturdy pair of slippers to help with their mobility and get them back on their feet.
Chaplain at NNUN, Reverend Stella Green, said: The evening promises to be an entertaining and thought-provoking opportunity to reflect on the season. Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome to attend.
The event will take place from 6pm to 7.30pm and is free to attend. There will be an interval for refreshments.
