Shoppers to find out about Apprenticeships in the NHS

As part of National Apprenticeship Week running from 11 – 15th March the NHS Apprenticeship Team based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) will be on hand to answer queries on careers and apprenticeships in the NHS to shoppers in Chapelfield from 1.30pm – 6.00pm on Tuesday 12th March 2013.

The sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week is designed to celebrate Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

Annie Cook, Apprenticeship Coordinator from the team said “this is an excellent opportunity for us to promote the work we are doing with Apprenticeships across the NHS and in Norwich and Central Norfolk.“

Chapelfield’s general manager Davina Tanner said: “Apprenticeships are a great way to start a career path and at Chapelfield we actively promote and support them. We are extremely pleased to welcome the hospital team in to Chapelfield to promote the NHS schemes available to our shoppers.”

This is the second in the series of health promotional events being run in partnership between Chapelfield and the NHS to bring health information and advice to local people. The NHS stand will be located on the Lower Ground of the Mall outside House of Fraser.
