New 310-space car park opens at NNUH

A new 310-space visitor car park has been opened at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital today (13th May) and will make it easier for patients and visitors to park at peak times.

Anna Dugdale, Chief Executive at NNUH, said:  “We know that this is a very important issue for our patients and visitors and we have been able to work in partnership with Bullen Developments to provide patients and visitors with a better experience in future when they come to hospital.”

The new car park will also have 40 spaces for staff in a designated area in addition to the public spaces.

The new car park has been built by developer Bullens as part of the expansion of the Norwich Research Park.  It is within walking distance of the hospital and the charges are the same as the existing hospital car parks.  There will also be lighting, security patrols and CCTV for the safety of car park users.

There are 800 spaces for the public at NNUH and the new car park will make a total of 1110 spaces.
