Volunteers Wanted for NNUH Events

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH) is looking to develop a team of enthusiastic volunteers with a passion to both help raise funds and promote events for its hospitals.

They would be joining a team of over 600 strong volunteers already working at the NNUH and would have a particular interest in volunteering for fundraising and events.

Sally Knights, Voluntary Services Manager, said: “If you don’t want to commit to a ‘regular’ volunteer position at the Trust, but would like to be involved in a range of ‘ad hoc’ experiences to support our hospitals, this could be the perfect role for you!”

John Fry, NNUH Chairman said “This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in taking part in fundraising events for the NNUH to join our much valued team of volunteers.”

Those who sign up to this programme will be contacted as and when volunteering opportunities become available, for example, helping at events such as Christmas Fairs and Open Days, fundraising collection days both at the NNUH and elsewhere around the county, as well and other promotional activities involved with events.

Anyone interested in this type of volunteering should contact the Volunteers Office on 01603 286060.
