Meeting next week for hospital Governors

The next meeting of the Council of Governors at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday 27th February 2014.

The Governors will be briefed on quality priorities and plans for improving services in the coming year. There will also be information on how the Trust is performing on standards of care, waiting times and finance.

The role of the Council of Governors is to represent the views of the Trust’s members when decisions are made about the future of hospital services.

There are 15 public Governors who each represent a geographical area in Norfolk or Waveney. There are also six staff Governors who each represent a staff group, plus appointed Governors from local organisations – The University of East Anglia, Norfolk County Council and a representative from Norfolk’s Clinical Commissioning Groups.
