Volunteer Recruitment at Cromer Hospital

Cromer Hospital is looking to recruit more volunteers to join its dedicated team supporting patients and staff.

The new volunteers will gather patient feedback and “meet and greet” patients or visitors who need help finding their way around Cromer Hospital.

Mike Willer, who has been volunteering at Cromer Hospital since 2011, said: “I really enjoy volunteering here at Cromer, not only because I like to meet and help people but also because it has helped me build my confidence.”

Anita Martins, Matron at Cromer Hospital, said: “We are looking to recruit volunteers who are outgoing, friendly and happy to talk to patients about their experience. It is important that we listen to our patients and find out how their visit has been and if there is anything we can do to improve”.

Volunteers will receive training including carrying out patient feedback surveys on iPads.
