Bishop of Norwich Open Garden in aid of the Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal

One of the Bishop of Norwich's private garden open events in 2014 will be in aid of the Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal and is being organised by the Norfolk and Waveney Prostate Cancer Support Group (NWPCSG).

The four acre site includes a grass labyrinth leading to a 400 year old pear tree, a kitchen garden, a boxed rose garden with fountain, bamboo glade and beautiful central lawn.

Visitors can walk round the beautiful gardens then relax with tea and cake and there is a free quiz to keep the children entertained! The garden will be open between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday 22nd June, with last entry at 4:30pm. Admission costs £3 per adult with accompanied children free. No need to pre-book in advance.

The Friends of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital are also supporting this event to raise money for the Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal by providing the homemade cakes.

Louise Cook, fundraising manager, said: “We are absolutely delighted that the NWPCSG is kindly supporting the Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal in this way. We are hoping that people are as excited as we are at seeing the Bishop of Norwich’s garden at such a lovely time of year and will enjoy the garden, tea and homemade cakes. It’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”
