Onesie Walk for local children’s hospital

Norvic clinic staff Adam Simmons and Stretch Heskett are organising a “Onesie Walk” for the second year running to raise money for the Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital. After several members of their team had personal experience of how important the hospital’s work is in saving lives on a daily basis, they put the event together and last year raised £1400.

Adam and his team are busy raising money through sponsorship, collecting boxes and by a sponsored hair growth! Adam Simmons, Stretch Heskett, Phil Joss, Stephen Ward, Darlington Bekoe and Stephen Beales are all growing beards or hair to raise money. Acle ward Clinical Team Leader Gemma Forster is also taking part in a sponsored silence.

This year’s Onesie Walk from the Norvic Clinic to the Forum will take place on 25th May 2014.

Louise Cook, Fundraising Manager at NNUH, said: “It was lovely to hear how the work of our Children’s hospital staff is so highly thought of in the community. We are so pleased that such a wonderful group of individuals give up their time to raise so much money for us. This is a very local hospital charity which affects local families and children. If anyone would like to support us then please get in touch on 01603 287107 or email”
