Summer fete at Cromer Hospital this July

The Cromer and District Hospital will be holding its annual summer fete on Saturday 19th July 2014 from 1.00pm to 4pm in aid of Cromer Community and Hospital Friends.

The fete aims to be a fun day out for all the family. Attractions on offer include traditional fete games, bric-a-brac, books and craft stalls, homemade cakes, emergency services, hot food and much more! For children there will be a teddy bears picnic, zip wire teddies and a best dressed teddy competition. There will be a 'cry' from the town crier and the fete will officially be opened at 1pm by a talented young ventriloquist and his local famous “friend”.

The fete will take place inside the new Cromer Hospital in the Allies Waiting Room, the café and the atrium with some stalls outside, depending on the weather.

There will also be a large raffle with main prizes including a Champagne tea at the Ritz in London for two people; a Kindle; Dinner, bed and breakfast at the Cliftonville Hotel for two people and a swimming voucher at Woodlands . Tickets are 50p each and are now available for sale in the hospital foyer and at the event. All prizes have been donated to support the friends.

Helen Lloyd, Operational Manager at Cromer Hospital, said: “We hope the fete will be fun for everyone, so please do come along and support the Cromer Community and Hospital Friends as they support us so much.”

Car parking will be free.
