Online auction in aid of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals charity appeal

Just in time for Christmas, local auction house Durrants will be launching an online sale in aid of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The auction is open from now until 26th November includes the star prize of a brand new Alfa Romeo Mito worth approximately £18,000, donated by a generous patient and his wife.

A variety of auction lots are available and include the opportunity to bid on gym passes, meal vouchers and days out as well as the chance to spend a morning with a Durrant antiques expert who will share their knowledge and help you to find the right antique.

Rebecca Mayhew from Durrants said: “We are delighted to be able to help the hospital charity’s Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal and Macmillan Cancer Support with this auction. The more money we can raise the more cancer patients will benefit. The items would make great Christmas presents and benefit worthy causes at the same time.’’

Louise Cook, Fundraising Manager for NNUH, said: “We are incredibly grateful for all of the generous gifts which will not only raise money for the Targeted Radiotherapy Appeal but will raise awareness of how our hospital charity makes a difference to the local community. Please go online, look at the lots and consider making a bid – you can make a difference to not just one but two charities.”
