These Onesies were made for walking…
Staff from the Norfolk and Suffolks Foundation Trust Norvic Clinic raised £1500 for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Jenny Lind Childrens playground by completing a walk on 30th May from the Norvic Clinic in Thorpe St. Andrew to the Forum in the centre of Norwich wearing a variety of ‘Onesies’.
Phil Joss, NSFT Clinical Support Worker commented: We completed the Onesie Walk to say thank you to the Jenny Lind Childrens Hospital at the N&N for the amazing care and attention they give to children and to give something back. Many of my colleagues have had experience of how important the hospital is and the lives it saves on a daily basis.
Louise Cook, Fundraising Manager said, It was lovely to hear how the work of our Jenny Lind staff is so highly thought of in the community. We are just so pleased that such a wonderful group of individuals gave up their time to raise so much money for us. This is a very local hospital charity which supports local families and children. If anyone would like to support us then please get in touch on 01603 287107 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The Onesie Walk started in May 2013 from an idea by Adam Simmons and Stretch Heskett, the pair are already organising the 2016 walk.
