Wymondham College to provide music to the ears of N&N patients

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is to host its largest ever musical performance when the students of Wymondham College visit the hospital on Thursday 9th July.

The college’s full orchestra including brass, guitar, double bass and drums will be performing in the West Atrium Restaurant to provide entertainment to patients, visitors and staff.

Emma Jarvis, NNUH Arts coordinator said: “The hospital has a wide variety of audiences from young children visiting relatives to older patients staying on wards. The variety of songs performed by the younger students should appeal to all.”

Dave Land, Wymondham College Brass and Trumpet Teacher commented: “We hope to put a smile on everybody’s face and also give the opportunity to our young musicians at Wymondham College to give a concert. The concert will give people the chance to sing and clap along to our music. On behalf of my director of music at the college, Andrew Day, and myself we are really looking forward to sharing our music with the hospital.”

The performance will be held in the West Atrium Restaurant from 2.30pm for 45minutes on Thursday 9th July.
