Public invited to talk on epilepsy at NNUH

Hospital expert Dr Jeff Cochius, Clinical Director of Neurology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, will be giving a talk for the public about epilepsy from 6pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 29th October 2015 in the hospital’s Benjamin Gooch lecture theatre.

Epilepsy, one of the most common neurological disorders and is the umbrella term for over 40 syndromes known as epilepsies. Dr Cochius is an expert in this area and will be giving a wide ranging talk about the disorder, treatments, work at the NNUH and the future for those with this condition.
The event will also mark a generous bequest of £130,000 to the hospital charity from Broadland builder Malcolm Porter, who died aged 74. Mr Porter spent many years raising the money which will be used to help fund extra equipment and information for epilepsy patients at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. There will be presentation to the Porter family to say thank you for their support.
