New Suffolk governor at NNUH

Mary Pandya

A new governor has been appointed to the Council of Governors for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH).

Mary Pandya from Fressingfield in Suffolk, who is a retired nurse, is the new governor representing the ‘Rest of England’ constituency. This constituency is open to members living outside Norfolk and Waveney and was established because the Trust provides an increasing number of specialist services which treat patients from outside the county.

Chairman of NNUH John Fry said: “We are delighted to welcome such an experienced person onto our Council of Governors which provides a vital connection with our local community. The role of a governor is to represent the interests of patients and the public as hospital services change and develop. ”
